Being in Alaska reminded me of the first time I was there, several years ago...
Though I did not do a race the first time, I did get to run along the beautiful coastal trail, and we did a brilliant hike, dog in tow.
We do not look that different, but some things have changed since then (September 2006):
My sister and her husband moved to a new place.
They had three additions to the family (and one loss...rest in peace, sweet Carver, above)
They each changed jobs.
I have moved four times, and lived with six different roommates.
I finished 1 job, started school, completed 2 internships, spent 2 summers in Colorado, 1 summer in Egypt, had 1 graduation, and started 1 new job.
I was inspired to create a goal for my running and have since run races in 12 states.
Along the way, there have been new friends, new joys, ups and downs, and lots of growth.
But no matter what, Stephanie will always be my sister, and no matter where we live, we will visit. And we will be connected.

There's no such thing as a lame flashback :) I've done one from the previous week. haha. Sounds like you've really done a lot! It's fun to look back and see all you've accomplished or all that's happened in only a few years.
